Creating routes without using your current location

You can create non-current locations directions using the mobile app! While the primary focus of the app is to provide real-time, turn-by-turn navigation, it also offers the flexibility to view written directions at any time. Whether you're planning ahead or just browsing a route, accessing the full list of directions is easy and seamless. It's all about giving you the freedom to plan your journey your way!

 

How to create a route that is using a different starting point (not your location)

  1. Open the app and tap "Search MapQuest" at the top.

  2. Enter your first stop or destination.

  3. After entering your destination, you'll see an overview of the route. 

  4. By default, the starting point is set to "Current Location," but you can easily change this to another address of your choice. Tap "Current Location" and edit the starting address field. 

  5. Once you've updated your starting address, tap "View Route Directions" to see the full list of written step-by-step directions.
