My Maps is a feature that allows you to save your favorite locations and directions so you can access them from any computer or mobile device. You can organize your locations and routes into lists to save or share with friends.
Save Locations and Directions
Whenever you get a map, directions, or a list of search results, you see pin icons next to the locations listed in the left panel. Click a pin to save this location or route to My Maps. You can create a new map or save it to a map that you already created.
Access saved locations and routes in the My Maps menu at the top of the page.
Click a map name to show those locations on the map and listed in a tab on the left.

Organize Your Saved Locations
Your saved locations and directions in My Maps are saved in lists that you create and manage. You can organize locations for an event, like a wedding, create a list of your favorite restaurants, or save road trips and travel destinations for your dream vacation.
Name your maps, routes, and locations, and choose custom icons for each.
You can also copy a location from one map to another. For example, when you finally go on that dream vacation, you can move some of the locations from “Places I Want to Go” to “Places I’ve Been”.

Share Your Saved Maps
Share your saved maps with your family and friends. Post a link to your map on Facebook, email it, or print your map.

Sign In
Sign in using your username and password from another Web site, like AOL, Facebook, Twitter or Google. MapQuest does not save your sign-in information, but uses it to verify your account with that Web site. This way you do not have to create a whole new account, username, and password on MapQuest.com.
Note: You can save maps and directions without a My Maps account. However, you will not be able to access your saved maps from other computers or mobile devices, and your saved information will be deleted if you delete your MapQuest cookies.
