The Send feature lets you easily send a link to a map or set of directions to a variety of devices and web sites. To get started get a map or directions and then click the button located in the upper right.

The following options are available for any of the three transportation types :

• Send to Email lets you email your directions text or a link to your map.
• Send to Facebook lets you post a link to your MapQuest map or route on your Facebook Wall and in your friends’ News Feeds

The options below can are only available driving or walking maps and routes.

The Send to Mobile option allows you to send a one-time text message to your web-enabled mobile device, with a link to your map or directions.

• Send to Your Web site lets you embed a MapQuest map or route on your Web Site or blog.
• The Send to Car option allows you to send a MapQuest map or route to your vehicle’s OnStar or Ford SYNC account.
• The Send to GPS option lets you send your MapQuest map or route directly to your Garmin GPS device.
