By using the Gas Prices Feature, you can easily use the Gas Calculator to calculate the estimated cost for your trip or to find Gas Stations and view prices near an address or location.

How to Use the Gas Calculator
When using the Gas Calculator you can enter your Trip Distance (in miles), Miles Per Gallon and Cost Per Gallon to calculate the approximate amount your trip will cost.
Try it out by clicking on the 
icon located above the map on the Gas Prices page.
How to find Gas Prices Near a Location
- Select a fuel type from the drop-down list.
- In the Find Gas Prices box on the left side, enter an address or intersection including the city, state, and/or zip code.
- Click the Find Gas Prices button. A list of results will appear on the left-hand side that can be viewed by Price, Distance or A to Z.
Note: Prices listed above are used as an example and do not reflect current gas prices at these locations.
Tips:
- Click the Refine Search link to change the number of miles from your location to search for the lowest priced gas, or select a specific brand of fuel. When you have completed your settings, click the Refine button and your search is updated.
- Move your mouse over a POI (Point of Interest) icon or click a gas station name to view the price, address, and phone number of the selected location.
How to Get Directions to a Selected Gas Station
- From the list of results, click on the Gas Station you would like to get directions to.
- Click on the Get Directions link. This will redirect you automatically to MapQuest.com.
- Enter your starting location in the search box and click Get Directions. Your route will display on the map and the directions to the Gas Station will appear in the left-hand side panel.
How to Browse Gas Prices By State
- Click on the Gas Prices by State link located in the footer on the Gas Prices page.
- The Gas Prices of the United States page appears. Select a state from either the Select a State drop down menu, interactive map or from the state list.
- When you select a state an alphabetical listing of all cities for that state displays allowing you to easily browse gasoline, diesel or alternative fuels locations for the selected city.
