Content Usage Request Form

Thank you for your interest in using MapQuest maps in your project. Please review the following before submitting your request.

In most cases, use of MapQuest maps is approved provided usage falls within the following guidelines*:

Wedding or party invitations for an individual
Corporate party or event invitations where no admission is charged
Church flyers
Non-profit (registered 501(c)3 organization flyers for locations or events where no admission is charged
Schools
Student papers (grade school through undergraduate college only)
Newspapers (for news features and public service announcements, e.g., road closures or event locations)
TV new programs (for news features and public service announcements)
Direct mailings of no more than 2,000 copies (grand opening flyers, sales flyers, etc.)

If your intended use does not fall within the guidelines above, permission may still be granted, however the review process may be more involved. Examples of usage requiring more thorough review include *:

Paid advertisements (including paid directory listings, product advertisements, newspaper ads, or any other commercial advertising use)
Use in a book or magazine article
Use in a film or television project other than news
Use in a direct mailing of more than 2,000 copies (e.g., grand opening flyer, relocation announcement, etc.)
Use of more than 5 individual maps in any one project or publication, whether for profit or not-for-profit
Online use(e.g., on a company website) whether for profit or not-for-profit
Graduate theses or academic papers which may be published at a later date
Any use which requires modification of the map image (other than to add an arrow, as noted above)

*Examples above do not represent all circumstances nor are they intended to imply or grant permission; they are intended for informational purposes only.
