– Maps and Routes: Save Maps and Routes on MapQuest.com and retrieve on your iPhone. – Directions: More useful driving directions featuring an oversized display as well as landscape mode orientation. – Place Carousel: New MapQuest Place Carousel allows you to easily display locations for hotels, movie theaters, gas stations, and more with a single tap. – Find Me: "Find Me" feature that utilizes iPhone GPS to plot your approximate location on a map. – Follow Route: Follow your route in either map or list mode. – NegotiateTurns: Negotiate difficult turns or sets of turns with the help of orientation arrows when viewing directions in map mode. – Search:Free-form search for businesses and places. – My Position Icon: Create your own my position icon that represents YOU on the map using the iPhone's built in camera or choose from a variety of existing My Position icons. – Walking Directions: Walking directions feature to find the most direct route, utilizing pedestrian walkways. Note: GPS features require an iPhone with GPS features. Because the iPod Touch's online connection is limited to Wi-Fi,geographical location is determined by triangulation which is less accurate than GPS.
